October 10, 2019: Wow, Lawrence County, thanks for your participation in the community survey and the at the community stakeholder meetings! Over the next few months we will review your input, research issues, and get ready to present to you all in January at another round of community meetings. At these meetings, we will be getting into the details and setting goals and strategies to guide Lawrence County over the next 10 years. September 4, 2019: Please mark your calendars for an upcoming Comprehensive Plan Update Community Meeting. These meetings will center around discussions about the County’s progress on implementing the existing Comprehensive Plan and we will gather your input on issues impacting Lawrence County today and into the future. August 1, 2019: The Comprehensive Plan Survey is live! You can take the survey online at this link. Or you can print off and mail in a copy of the survey here. The survey will be open until October 4th. We need your input to ensure that the Plan update represents the needs of the community.
